Julia Burgstaller was born in Innsbruck, Austria where she has graduated from a well-established tourism college. During her tourism education she already started to extend her language skills, gain experience in the tourism business, working in hospitality and in ski schools, where she could live her passion for foreign languages.
To get out of the rat race, she continued to work in the tourism- and hospitality sector, collecting valuable experience on cruise ships, in the USA, in European coutries, Turkey, in hotels and ski schools with guests and colleagues from all over the world.
When she decided to study (graduated with a Master's degree,
specialized in language and linguistics) after about 10 years of working in 73 countries, she would stay in the business, working as a tour guide, on cruise ships and in
ski schools and could gain teaching- and coaching experience in highly frequented institutes. This way it was possible to leave the rat race more often.
Writing had already started at the age of 13, reading with her first children's books. Writing and reading have not stopped to develop ever since.
She moved to Switzerland and continued to work as a tour guide and trainer, coach & teacher.
In 2017 she combined her linguistic, paedagogical as well as hospitality skills and therefore started to offer coachings for tourist employees, entrepreneurs,
tour guides and travellers in international English and German. She uses a very sustainable approach, including role-plays, workshops, immersion and the digital
media. Online coaching and writing made her finally leave the rat race in 2020.
